Tetteh and Tunisian Foreign Minister Discuss Libya’s Political Developments

Tunis:UN Special Representative of the Secretary-General, Hanna Tetteh, held discussions with Tunisian Foreign Minister Mohamed Ali Nafti about recent political developments in Libya. The meeting took place in Tunisia, focusing on the agreement reached by the Smaller Convening and the next steps in the political process.

According to the Libyan News Agency, Tetteh and Nafti also addressed the impact of Libya's divisions and instability on the Libyan people and neighboring countries. They emphasized the importance of supporting Libyan efforts to achieve economic, political, and security stability.

Nafti reiterated Tunisia's continued support for the UN-facilitated political process. Tetteh expressed appreciation for Tunisia's steadfast support and for hosting the meetings of the Smaller Convening in Tunis.
