The West Bank– Yesterday Friday, tens of thousands performed Friday prayers in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite the strict military measures imposed by the Israeli occupation authorities at its gates and entrances to the Old City of the occupied Jerusalem.

The Islamic Department in Jerusalem estimated, in a statement, that about 70,000 worshipers performed Friday prayers in the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Palestinian News Agency reported that the occupation forces deployed in the streets of Jerusalem and the vicinity of Al-Aqsa Mosque, stationed at its gates, stopped worshipers, checked their identity cards, and prevented dozens from entering.

Thousands of worshipers from the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, and inside the 1948 lands, performed the dawn (al-Fajr) prayer in Al-Aqsa Mosque, in support of the holy sites, and in rejection of the Judaizing occupation policies.
