Takala and Al-Lafi Discuss the Latest Developments in Libya

Tripoli: The President of the High Council of State, Mohamed Takala, met today with the Deputy Head of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, at the High Council of State headquarters in Tripoli.

According to Libyan News Agency, the High Council of State's media office explained that the meeting reviewed the latest political, economic, and security developments in the country, as well as efforts to advance the national reconciliation process in the face of current challenges. The meeting also addressed the unilateral actions taken by the House of Representatives and its continued violation of the Libyan Political Agreement, which is deepening the current political crisis.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides emphasized the need to strengthen coordination and communication between the two councils to help break the deadlock and create a safe and stable environment that supports the democratic process and opens new horizons for dialogue and joint action.
