Syrian journalists condemn Israel’s targeting media cadres in Lebanon

The Union of Journalists in Syria denounced the horrific massacre committed by the Israeli occupation forces who deliberately attacked media cadres this Friday killing two colleagues from Al Mayadeen and another from Al Manar and injured three others. The union stressed that such attacks on journalists are aimed at preventing them from conveying reality of the genocidal war that Israel is waging against civilians and innocents, indicating that the entity's continued targeting of journalists is a war crime by all standards. The Union called on international organizations, media, humanitarian and legal institutions to hold the Zionist entity fully legally and morally responsible for this brutal attack and not let those behind this targeting escape punishment.
