Damascus, SANA- The Ministry of Health will launch a vaccination campaign against Covid-19 in several governorates, with the aim of keeping the epidemiological situation of this disease stable in the country.
Director of Primary Health Care at the Ministry, Razan Tarabishi, said , in a statement to SANA, that the campaign will start on December 11, and targets people over 18 years old, by going directly to the hospitals and centers designated for the campaign, along with a number of mobile teams to ensure reaching the largest number of people.
She added that 7,314 health workers distributed in 20 hospitals, 852 health centers and 360 mobile teams participate in the campaign.
“The vaccine is safe, effective and free, and is allowed according to the recent recommendations of the World Health Organization, for pregnant” Tarabishi explained.
