Tripoli: A team from the National Oil Corporation (NOC) held a meeting today, Sunday, with a delegation from the Algerian company Sonatrach to strengthen cooperation between Libya and Algeria in the areas of oil laboratories and conducting joint technical studies. The meeting was aimed at enhancing collaborative efforts between the two nations in the energy sector.
According to Libyan News Agency, the Ministry explained that the meeting discussed the recently signed agreement between the Libyan Oil Research Center and specialized laboratories in Algeria. The discussions also included partnership opportunities in refinery maintenance, pipeline projects, solar energy, and developing national expertise to work in international organizations. Additionally, the meeting reviewed Sonatrach’s latest work in the Ghadames Basin.
Both sides emphasized the importance of exchanging expertise and conducting technical visits to enhance integration between the two countries. This cooperation is seen as a significant step in propelling the energy sector towards broader horizons.
