Streamlined authentication procedure hailed

Authentication services will from now on will be provide at the the diplomatic missions of the Kingdom of Bahrain abroad.

The streamlined procedure was endorsed during the weekly Cabinet meeting, which was chaired today by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda hailed the move which will further enhance e-service quality, ensuring efficiency and productivity.

“This service which will be implemented jointly with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs comes within the priorities of developing justice services in accordance with the Government Work Programme, in order to achieve the requirements of the 2023 Bahrain Economic Vision.

He underscored the importance of the move which, he said, aims to facilitate procedures for citizens, residents and investors while they are abroad, so that it can be used for official use in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

He announced that an edict be issued to outline the new service, which will include all types of legal transactions, thus contributing to facilitating authentication work for the beneficiaries, companies and investment institutions based in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Applicants will be able to receive their authenticated transactions without the need for in-person presence at the ministry’s headquarters in the Kingdom of Bahrain”, Al Maawda said.

He indicated that the procedure will allow the investment sector to benefit from its facilities outside the Kingdom, and to authenticate all types of contracts, including the establishment of companies and real estate purchase and sale transactions.
