Tripoli, The UN Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) said the UN Secretary-General’s special adviser on Libya Stephanie Williams, met Thursday with presidential candidates Ageela Saleh and Aref al-Nayedh.
The UN mission quoted William’s as saying she welcomed Saleh’s commitment to continue pushing the electoral process, including the need for all candidates to adhere to the principle of equal opportunities, adding that Williams also had the opportunity to meet with presidential candidate Dr. Al Aref Al-Nayedh.
