Tripoli– The work of the fourth day of the second round of meetings of the constitutional track between the House of Representatives and the state continued in Cairo, under the auspices of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya with the aim of reaching a constitutional basis for the elections.

The Adviser to the Secretary-General of the United Nations on Libya Stephanie Williams said in a press statement, “The consensus between the House of Representatives and the state on the constitutional framework during the meetings currently being held in Cairo is up to sincerity of intentions.”

“If there is a real and sincere will, everything can happen,” she added, calling on the participants in the meeting to bear the historical responsibility on their shoulders and to respect the will of the Libyan people to elect their representative as soon as possible.
