Al-Qubbah: The Speaker of the House of Representatives has officially received the draft unified general budget law for the fiscal year 2025. This took place during a meeting with the Prime Minister-designate of the Parliament.
According to Libyan News Agency, the Speaker’s Media Center announced that the draft budget was received in a meeting held in Al-Qubbah. The purpose is to present the draft to the members of the House for further discussion, which will include participation from members of the Central Bank of Libya.
The Media Center reported that the unified general budget for the year amounts to 174,123,518,700 Libyan Dinars. This budget is designed to cover public expenditures across all sectors of the Libyan state. The allocation aims to enhance transparency in public spending and rationalization, providing a framework to ensure that the Central Bank of Libya adheres to financial legislation.
