Speaker emphasises parliamentary diplomacy role in external visits

Manama, Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, received Bader Abbas Al Hulaibi, Bahraini Ambassador to Brazil. The Speaker commended the strong and growing Bahraini-Brazilian relations across various developmental domains. He expressed appreciation for Bahrain's foreign policy under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The Speaker emphasised the Council's dedication to enhancing parliamentary diplomacy through external visits and active participation. He noted the positive outcomes of the recent parliamentary visit to Brazil, which included discussions on parliamentary, economic, and investment issues beneficial to both countries. He also highlighted Ambassador Al Hulaibi's efforts during the parliamentary visit, noting the ongoing coordination to further develop relations, fulfilling shared aspirations and objectives. The Ambassador thanked th e Speaker for his efforts in strengthening diplomatic ties with other countries and enhancing cooperation with Brazil.
