Tripoli, Residents of some Tripoli quarters complained of lack or irregular flow of fresh water to their households, in addition to long hours of power outage amid a sweltering heat wave which is battering the country for several days now.

The Libyan news agency contacted several residents of the city, who expressed their dissatisfaction and discontent for cut of water and the long hours of electricity outage which amounted to 10 hours.

The contacted said more and more residents were thinking of substitutes to MMR water by digging wells to extract fresh water, which causes them to invest a lot of money to pay greedy digging contractors, and a rise in the prices of generators.

They demanded that the Government and the competent authorities act to intervene to bring about solutions to these daily problems they are facing.
