Situation in Libya was focus of meeting between the French and Turkish Presidents.

Ankara, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron discussed the situation in Libya and chances of holding presidential and parliamentary elections on December 24, the date set in advance.

The Turkish Arabic-language TV channel TRT said the meeting was held behind closed doors at the “Novola” conference center, on the sidelines of the G20 leaders’ summit, and that the talks between Erdogan and Macron lasted 50 minutes .

The Turkish channel indicated that President Erdogan said that there were efforts by the French president to organize a conference on the Libyan issue, and offer an invitation to Turkey, expressing his intention to participate.
