Tripoli: Speaker of the House of Representatives, Khaled Shakshak, engaged in discussions with the Minister of Oil and Gas, Khalifa Abdul Sadiq, about the primary challenges confronting the oil sector, with a focus on developing and enhancing investment prospects within the oil and gas industry.
According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting, held today, was attended by several directors from relevant departments on both sides. The discussions emphasized the difficulties impeding the growth of this crucial sector. The participants also explored monitoring and evaluation mechanisms and ways to strengthen oversight to ensure efficient performance and optimal resource utilization.
This meeting is part of the Audit Bureau’s continuous efforts to monitor state sectors and its dedication to supporting reform and development initiatives. These efforts aim to enhance overall performance and increase the effectiveness of public fund usage.
