Shahoubi Discusses Health Cooperation with Bangladeshi Ambassador

Tripoli: The Financial Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Mohammed Salem Al-Shahoubi, held discussions with the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Libya, Abu Al-Hasanat Mohammed. The meeting, which took place in the presence of the Undersecretary General of the Ministry of Health, Mohammed Al-Ghouj, focused on exploring ways to enhance health cooperation between Libya and Bangladesh.

According to Libyan News Agency, the Ministry stated on its official page that the conversation addressed the procedures for settling the status of Bangladeshi medical assistants employed in Libya’s public health sector. This follows the approval of new financial regulations for expatriate personnel.

During the meeting, Al-Shahoubi acknowledged the significant role played by Bangladeshi personnel in Libyan hospitals and health facilities. He emphasized his commitment to ensuring the payment of their financial dues, which is crucial for the stability of their work and the improvement of health services provided to Libyan citizens.
