Security Working Group holds a meeting on Libya today, in Tunisia

Tripoli 8 December 2022 (Lana) an international technical meeting of the Security Working Group will be held today in Tunisia, to discuss the security track in Libya.

The Italian Nova Agency stated that the meeting will be chaired by African Union, with the participation of the UNSMIL, France, Italy, Turkey, and the United Kingdom.

Tunisia hosted ,last June, a meeting of Security Working Group, in the presence of former advisor to the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Libya, Stephanie Williams, who stressed the importance in maintaining stability and clam on territory.

It’s noteworthy that Security Working Group is part of the international follow-up committee responsible for implementing what Libyan agreed in the context of Berlin process.
