Abu dhabi: Minister of Oil and Gas Khalifa Abdul Sadiq discussed with OPEC Secretary General Haitham Al-Ghais Libya’s pivotal role in supporting the organization’s efforts and its ongoing contributions to strengthening cooperation among member states.
According to Libyan News Agency, during the meeting, held on the sidelines of the ADIPEC 2025 conference in Abu Dhabi, the two parties also discussed developments in the global oil sector and ways to enhance market stability, in addition to emphasizing the importance of sufficient and early investments in the oil industry to ensure sustainable supplies.
The ministry’s statement highlighted Al-Ghais’s commendation of Libya’s efforts in supporting OPEC and its continued commitment to the Declaration of Cooperation.
