Lulwa bint Saleh Al Awadhi, the Acting Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), met with the General Secretariat staff to celebrate the council's 23rd anniversary, coinciding with Bahrain's Silver Jubilee celebrations of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's accession. The Acting Secretary-General conveyed the congratulations of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of SCW, to the attendees. She emphasised the importance of continued collaboration to achieve HRH the SCW President's vision. Reflecting on 23 years of progress, Al Awadhi noted the significant role of HRH the SCW President, in advancing Bahraini women's political empowerment, leading to their prominent roles in decision-making positions. She acknowledged the dedication of the SCW staff, crediting their efforts to the council's national standing in women's issues.
