RiyadhSaudi Arabia experienced substantial growth in its tourism sector during the first quarter of 2024. Inbound visitor spending increased by 22.9% compared to the same period in 2023, reaching over SAR 45 billion, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported. Saudi Arabia also recorded a 46% year-over-year increase in its travel account surplus, reaching SAR 24 billion. This reflects Saudi Arabia's success in tourism, having been ranked first globally in 2023 for international tourist and revenue growth.
