Two Syrian soldiers were injured in an Israeli rockets assault on the outskirt of Damascus, said the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) on Thursday.

SANA, quoting a military source, said that the Israeli aggression took place at 01:20 am local-time, noting that the projectiles came from the occupied Golan Heights.

The attack resulted in property damages, indicated the military source, which affirmed that some rockets were shut down by ground defense.

This is the third Israeli attack on Syria this month with two assaults occurring on March 12 and 22.
