Representatives of Chad, Sudan and Niger at 5+5 Military Commission Talks ready for exit of mercenaries.

Cairo Representatives of Sudan, Chad and Niger participating in the 5+5 Joint Military Commission meeting in Cairo, Egypt, have expressed their full readiness to coordinate and cooperate to ensure exit of all mercenaries who belong to their countries, with all classifications from Libyan territory.

In a statement issued following a meeting on meeting the representatives of the countries concerned expressed their willingness to ensure that these countries receive their citizens and will not be allowed to return to Libyan territory, and that none of the neighboring countries are destabilized.

The statement said there was a need for permanent and effective channels of communication to be established on the issue of exit of mercenaries and foreign fighters from Libya, stressing the importance of communication and coordination with all Libyan neighboring countries in this regard.

The committee held its meetings in Cairo, Egypt, hosted by Egypt and sponsored by the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, the presence of the head of the mission, Jan Kupic, and representatives from Sudan, Chad and Niger.
