The Sudanese Rapid Support Forces announced the extension of the truce for 72 hours, starting from midnight tonight, in response to international and regional calls.
The Rapid Support Forces said, according to Sky News Arabia: We renew our commitment to the declared humanitarian truce and the cease-fire, despite the violations of the Sudanese army.
They added: extending the armistice in Sudan in order to open humanitarian corridors and facilitate the movement of citizens and residents and their access to safe areas. / End
