Qatari Ambassador Discusses Regional Developments with Libyan Prime Minister

Tripoli: Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibah of the Government of National Unity met today with the Qatari Ambassador to Libya, Khalid Al-Dosari, to discuss the latest developments in the region, including the political and security situation.

According to Libyan News Agency, the Qatari Ambassador briefed Dbeibah on the latest developments in his country and the wider region, their potential repercussions on regional stability, and the efforts underway to contain tensions and promote de-escalation.

The government's media office quoted Dbeibah as affirming the Government of National Unity's commitment to supporting all initiatives aimed at strengthening security and stability in the region. He stressed the importance of ongoing coordination and consultation among brotherly nations to address shared challenges, thereby contributing to the preservation of regional peace and serving the interests of their peoples.

The meeting also addressed ways to develop bilateral relations between Libya and Qatar and enhance cooperation in areas that serve the developmental and economic priorities of both countries.
