Tripoli: The head of the Administrative Control Authority, Abdullah Qadirboh, engaged in discussions with Mohammed bin Ismail, the Director General of the Housing and Utilities Projects Implementation Authority, to address the pressing issues and obstacles hampering the agency’s operations.
According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting was attended by several department and office directors from both the Authority and the Agency. The discussions focused on evaluating the Agency’s tasks and the progress of the projects it supervises. Key topics included the challenges obstructing the completion or initiation of these projects and potential strategies to ensure their successful implementation.
The Authority highlighted that the meeting also covered court rulings against the Authority due to failures in executing certain projects or meeting contractor obligations. Emphasis was placed on enhancing pre-contract oversight, ensuring diligent monitoring of contract payments, and revising procedural appendices, aiming to guarantee the projects’ proper execution and alignment with public interest goals.
