Tripoli: The Institute of Diplomatic Studies at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the French Cultural Institute held a meeting to explore opportunities for collaboration in training and development. Khaled Abu Khreis, Director of the Institute of Diplomatic Studies, and Jean-Bernard Boulvin, Director of the French Cultural Office and Institute at the French Embassy in Libya, led the discussions focused on joint initiatives.
According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting emphasized a collaborative initiative aimed at training and developing translators from the Translation Office at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. The program will involve specialized training in simultaneous interpretation, to be conducted in France.
This initiative aligns with the Institute’s mission to enhance national expertise in diplomatic and linguistic translation, thereby supporting and advancing Libyan diplomatic efforts on the global stage.
