Following the royal order of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Bahrain Ambassador in Beijing Dr. Muhammad Ghassan Muhammad Adnan Sheikho presented the Prince Salman bin Hamad Medal of Medical Merit to the honorees among the personnel of the Chinese company (Sinopharm).
This came during a reception hosted by the ambassador, in the presence of Dr. Liu Jingjian, President of the Chinese Sinopharm Company, Zhu Jingjing, Vice President, and the work team that supervised, in cooperation with the government of the Kingdom of Bahrain, clinical trials of the coronavirus vaccine in the Kingdom.
Dr. Jingjin praised the wisdom and leadership of His Majesty and the continuous follow-up of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister which placed Bahrain among the countries that have been praised for their efforts in combating (Covid 19) pandemic and contributed to the success of cooperation with Sinopharm.
Dr. Jingjin hailed strong relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the People’s Republic of China, in light of the keenness of the leaderships of the two friendly countries to strengthen and develop joint ties in various fields.
