Tripoli-Prime Minister and Defense Minister Abdul Hamid Al Dbeiba on Thursday attended the graduation ceremony of officers of the Chief of Staff of the Ground Forces from various disciplines.

The event was attended by chief of the general staff of the Libyan army, Lt. Gen. Mohammed Al-Haddad, chief of staff of the ground forces, commanders of military zones, heads of bodies, directors of departments, and a number of Libyan army officers.

The chief of staff saluted the martyrs who sacrificed for the sake of the homeland and the building of a modern democratic state with its constitution that derives its legitimacy from the Libyan people.

Al-Haddad called on all antagonists to come together in support of the unification of the military, to face the dangers targeting the country, especially terrorism, considering that the battle against it is not over yet and there is evidence of the return of many outposts in several areas of Libya.

In his speech, Al-Haddad stressed that people should not bet on persons because they are mortal, and the rule of one individual and dictatorship has ended forever, and that we work to build a civil state to reach elections and achieve security and stability.

During the ceremony, the results of these courses were announced in various disciplines and the first officers affiliated with them were honored with graduation certificates by the Prime Minister, the Defense Minister and the Chief of General Staff of the Libyan army.
