Tripoli: The President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Menfi, welcomed the UK Ambassador to Libya, Martin Longden, as he concludes his diplomatic mission in Libya.
According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting focused on the historical relations between Libya and the United Kingdom, highlighting the enduring ties between the two nations. Discussions were held regarding the enhancement of bilateral cooperation to advance shared interests and bolster stability efforts in Libya.
President Al-Menfi commended Ambassador Longden for his efforts during his tenure, acknowledging his role in fostering communication and understanding between Libya and the UK. He extended his best wishes to Longden for his future endeavors.
