Tripoli, The President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al Mnefi met on Wednesday morning with UN Secretary-General’s Advisor on Libya Stephanie Williams, with whom he discussed developments of the Libyan political process.
Council sources stated that during the meeting focused on consultations Williams held with Libyan leaders, with the aim of removing obstacles to electoral entitlement, discussing of various options for the success of the political process and maintaining the consensus path in the country.
For his part, the President of the Presidential Council was standing at the same distance from all political parties, and working to make the political process a success, to reach the electoral results that all the Libyan people aspire to, he also praised the efforts of the United Nations in supporting the Libyan political track.
