New York, President of Presidency Council Mohamed Al Mnefi met, at the UN headquarters in New York, Foreign Minister of the Maldives Abdullah Al Shahed, who is the current Chairman of the UN General Assembly Session.
Al Shahed briefed the President on the priorities of the current session, including mechanisms of recovery from the Covid 19, and putting in place an international plan to achieve this.
Cooperation between UN Commissions and Libyan executive bodies was discussed at the meeting, whereby the Chairman of the Session welcomed Al mnefi, praising his effort to achieve peace and stability in Libya.
He called on world leaders to stand firm to rid the world of hunger, poverty and war.
