PM Holds Meeting with British Informa Group To Promote Foreign Investments

Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly, recently held a meeting with Stephen Carter, the CEO of the renowned British Informa PLC Group. The primary agenda of the meeting was to explore avenues of collaboration in promoting and attracting foreign investments to Egypt. During the meeting, Madbouly expressed his strong desire to establish a cooperative partnership with Informa PLC Group, aiming to harness their extensive international experience in effectively promoting and attracting foreign direct investments to Egypt. Highlighting the government's commitment to boosting the private sector's involvement in the country's economic activities, the Prime Minister emphasized several noteworthy economic initiatives. These initiatives play a pivotal role in advancing the government's overall strategy and contribute to achieving the ambitious target of raising the private sector's contribution to Egypt's total investments by an impressive 65 percent within a span of three years. Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade , Hassan El-Khatib, further elaborated on the meeting's significance. He emphasized that Informa PLC Group possesses valuable prior experience operating in the Egyptian market, particularly in organizing trade exhibitions.
