Tripoli: The Planning Institute, led by Director General Mustafa Al-Arqat, engaged in discussions with Libyan experts on the integration of smart city technologies into sustainable development plans. This initiative aims to bolster reconstruction efforts and modernize urban infrastructure in Libya by adhering to the latest technological and environmental standards.

According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting was attended by the Vice Chairman of the Institute’s Sustainable Development Committee. It focused on enhancing collaboration with Libyan professionals and exploring smart city technology applications. The discussions delved into the challenges and opportunities of creating efficient and sustainable cities, highlighting the need for regulatory and legislative frameworks to support this modern initiative.
