People of the occupied Syrian Golan and Quneitra commemorated Monday the 77th anniversary of the Independence Day, emphasizing the continuation of the struggle until the liberation of their land from the Israeli occupation.

The citizens of Golan gathered in the occupied town of Majdal Shams and heading towards the celebration site opposite Ain al-Tineh in Quneitra, carrying national flags and banners glorifying the memory of the Independence Day , pictures of the leaders of the great Syrian revolution against the French colonialists, and pictures of President Bashar al-Assad, chanting slogans in support of the Syrian Arab Army, and emphasizing the adherence of the people of the Golan to their homeland Syria and their continued struggle until liberation and the defeat of the Israeli occupation.

They affirmed that Golan was and will remain Arab and Syrian, and it will return to his homeland , affirming their rejection of the Israeli occupation and all its schemes .

Golan’s people saluted President Bashar al-Assad and the Syrian Arab Army, stressing that the people of the occupied Golan are rooted in their land and confident in victory, the liberation of the Golan from occupation and its inevitable return to Syria.
