Baghdad, The US Department of Defense (Pentagon) confirmed today, Thursday, that Ain al-Assad base was attacked by drones this week. Pentagon Spokeswoman Sabrina Singh said in press statements that "two drones attacked Ain al-Assad air base in Iraq yesterday." In addition, a US military official stated that "the US Ain al-Assad base in Anbar Governorate, western Iraq, was attacked by a drone," noting that "the attack did not result in any injuries to any of the individuals inside the base."
