Tripoli, The President of the Presidential Council, “Mohamed Al-Manfi,” saluted the struggle of the grandparents and the founding fathers to gain the independence of the country.

Al-Manfi said in a speech addressed to the Libyan people today, Thursday, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Libya’s independence, which was followed by the Libyan News Agency, Today we stand her on the history created by our forefathers, neither killing, nor capturing nor displacing, for complete independence, freedom and complete sovereignty.

In his speech, Al-Manfi continued, “The founding fathers struggled with all strength and courage for the independence of the Libyan political will and the Libyan political decision. on the twenty forth of December 1951.

He said that the independence of Libya was a free Libyan will by which the struggling fathers resisted the mandate plans and wills, until the international will at that time acquiesced to the will of our proud people.

The President of the Presidential Council added in his speech that the Libyan people at the time had three regions in administration, but in the will, one region was not divisible by two.

Al-Manfi pointed out that the united Libyan triumphed, and the United Kingdom of Libya was established, and the dreams of united states in fragmentation and division had vanished.

He stressed that the Presidential Council will not be complacent until history repeats itself with a unified Libyan will, a new era for the state, one in will and administration, one in the region and hypostasis, and one in decision and destiny, stressing that there is no prejudice to the unity of the people, their sovereignty, and there is no complacency in that or negligence. .

He also confirmed that they took over in the Presidential Council because the country’s need for it last December of the year 2020 dictated that it is a safety valve, and a bridge to a fair and indisputable electoral entitlement.

Al-Manfi said that they in the Presidential Council pledged to spare the Libyans the scourge of war, and to work to promote the values of dialogue, tolerance, forgiveness and coexistence among all Libyans, equal in duties, equal in rights without distinction or discrimination.

The President of the Presidential Council pointed out that they have not and will not spare any effort to unify all political efforts in a single national track that includes all, and that they are faithfully committed to the Libyan people, their life, food, security, sovereignty, and even the preservation of their heritage in history.
