Official Moroccan News Agency: Ageela and Al Meshri agree on implementation of the output of the Bouznika track and unification of the executive authority

Rabat-The official Moroccan news agency “MAP” published what it described as the main points of the agreement reached by the Speakers of the House of Representatives, Ageela Saleh, and the High Council of State, Khaled Al Meshri, on Friday in Rabat, which stipulated the implementation of the output of the Bouznika track related to sovereign positions and the unification of the executive authority.

According to the agency, the agreement stipulated the implementation of the output of the Bouznika track related to sovereign positions in the coming weeks before the end of December, working towards unifying the executive authority in Libya as soon as possible, and resuming dialogue in order to do what is necessary to hold presidential and parliamentary elections in accordance with a clear road map and legislation on the basis of which elections will be held in agreement with the two chambers.

The agreement also stipulated, according to the agency, the continuation of understanding regarding the procedures necessary to hold presidential and parliamentary elections as soon as possible, and resumption of consultation meetings in a convergent manner during the coming period in the Kingdom of Morocco.
