NCW thanks Sisi for appointing 34 female judges at first instance courts, prosecution offices

The National Council for Women (NCW) thanked President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and the head of the Supreme Council for Judicial Bodies for appointing 34 more female judges as class “B” chairpersons at first instance courts and public prosecution offices under Republican Decree No. 294/2023.

In a statement on Saturday 29/07/2023, NCW Chairwoman Maya Morsy voiced her great pleasure at this move, which demonstrates President Sisi’s firm conviction in the important role of women as essential contributors to community-building.

The decree also testifies women’s success in this domain, which enabled them to work their way up to higher positions, said the council chief, thanking also the Supreme Judicial Council, Minister of Justice Omar Marawan, and Attorney General Hamada El-Sawy for their efforts in support of women empowerment issues.
