National Center for Research and Counter-Terrorism Force Discuss Cooperation

Tripoli: The National Center for Scientific Research and Studies held discussions with the Counter-Terrorism Force of the Presidential Council to explore areas of joint coordination and scientific cooperation. This dialogue focused on the exchange of information regarding studies and research aimed at combating terrorism and extremism.

According to Libyan News Agency, the discussions also covered potential joint scientific activities. These activities are intended to disseminate knowledge, develop monitoring and evaluation techniques, and address terrorism and extremist ideologies. Additionally, plans were made to implement training courses for members of the Counter-Terrorism Force. These courses will cover fields such as analysis, monitoring and evaluation, scientific research methods, and crisis management.

The National Center for Scientific Research and Studies places significant emphasis on research related to combating terrorism and extremism. It has developed a specialized team dedicated to monitoring reports on these issues from local, regional, and international sources.
