Tripoli, The National Center for Disease Control announced, Monday, the registration of (2688) new cases of the emerging coronavirus, in addition to the recovery of (1688) and the death of (29) cases as a result of the epidemic during the past 24 hours.
The center indicated in its statement that it received (9610) samples to detect the Corona virus, Sunday, to show negative (6922) samples, and positive (2688) samples, representing (28%) of the examined cases. With this announcement, the total number of Corona virus infections in Libya rose to (284,618) cases, including (73,521) active cases, and (207,164) cases recovered, while (3,933) people died as a result of the epidemic that appeared in Libya since March of last year.
