Narcotics Control seizes 17 kilograms of narcotics

The General Directorate for Narcotics Control seized 17 kilograms of narcotic substances and arrested 3 of the most dangerous drug dealers, one of whom was arrested in Lebanon.

A statement by the Directorate stated that: “With a qualitative operation based on accurate information, the General Directorate for Narcotics Control managed to seize 17 kg of narcotic substances, including 16 kg of hashish in Anbar and 1 kg of crystal in Al-Wahda neighborhood in Baghdad. Two important vehicles were also arrested.

In a related context, the General Directorate of Anti-Narcotics, in coordination with the security authorities in Lebanon, was able to arrest the accused (B.D.S), who is considered one of the three most dangerous suspects accused of trading in narcotic Captacon pills, which are manufactured in factories outside Iraq.
