Tripoli, Members of the House of Representatives, who are members of the Pan-Arab Parliament have participated in meetings of the permanent committees of the Parliament in Amman, Jordan, the spokesman for the House of Representatives said.

In a statement posted on his official Facebook account, Abdullah Bleiheg said the meeting was part of preparations for the second meeting of the third legislative session of the Arab Parliament.

Bleiheg pointed out that member of the House of Representatives Abdul Salam Nassiya participated in the meeting of the Economic and Financial Affairs Committee during which the memorandum of the General Secretariat was presented on the latest developments in preparation for the Arab forum on the requirements of promoting economic integration between Arab countries, which aims to call for solutions and a roadmap to encourage Arab trade and improve the performance of the Greater Arab Free Trade Area and prepare for an Arab customs union.”

He also confirmed that member of the House of Representatives Ahlam Al-Lafi also participated in the meeting of the Committee of Social, Educational and Cultural Affairs, women and youth, where during the meeting was studied the development of a mechanism to support Arab legislation on environmental conservation and reviewed the proposal of an Arab guidance bill to protect the Arabic language in addition to a memorandum on the development of education in the Arab world.
