New York–The UN Security Council will hold an open briefing on Libya on Monday, October 24, 2022, followed by closed consultations and the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General for Libya, Abdoulaye Bathily, will brief the Council for the first time in this capacity.
Bathily began his work, more than a year after former envoy Ján Kubiš resigned in November 2021.
