Mohamed Takala Chairs First Meeting of High Council of State

Tripoli: The Office of the President of the High Council of State, led by Dr. Mohamed Takala, convened for its inaugural meeting today following his election. The meeting took place at the Council's headquarters in Tripoli and was attended by First Deputy Speaker Naji Mukhtar, Second Deputy Speaker Omar Boushah, and Council Rapporteur Belkacem Dabrez.

According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting focused on establishing the operational mechanisms of the Office of the President and setting priorities for the upcoming phase. The attendees reviewed various political and administrative files and discussed strategies for enhancing coordination between the Office of the President and the Council's committees. Preparations for the upcoming session were also on the agenda.

The participants highlighted the necessity of unifying efforts and maintaining consultations with national stakeholders to support consensus-building. They emphasized creating conducive conditions for holding elections, thereby contributing to the nation's stability and advancing the political process.
