Ministry of Social Affairs Distributes Rent Allowance Checks to Murzuq Displaced


Tripoli: The Ministry of Social Affairs has initiated the distribution of rental assistance checks to families displaced from the city of Murzuq. This effort is part of the Government of National Unity’s social protection programs aimed at supporting families impacted by displacement.



According to Libyan News Agency, the distribution process is under the direct supervision of the Minister of Social Affairs, Wafa Abu Bakr Al-Kilani. Specialized teams have commenced the distribution of checks to Murzuq’s displaced families after completing a similar distribution to those displaced from the eastern region last week.



The Ministry emphasized that this initiative is designed to support living stability and alleviate the economic pressures caused by displacement. It remains committed to caring for affected families and ensuring that support reaches the rightful beneficiaries.



Coordination with relevant authorities is ongoing to implement social protection programs across various regions, with the goal of enhancing social stability and improving living conditions.
