Tripoli, The Ministry of Economy and Trade clarified that the statements of the Minister of Economy, Mohamed al-Hawij on the Libya Talk programme on the Libya National Channel, include the ministry’s vision regarding the economic diversification scheme by enabling each Libyan family establish and implement its own private investment project and obtain financing with a guarantee via family property assets.
It added that media reports were not in line with the minister’s statement.
The vision of the Minister of Economy and Trade regarding the economic diversification scheme is to enable every Libyan family to establish and implement a private investment project and to obtain financing guaranteed by the assets of the family’s property.
The total number of beneficiaries is 1,250,000 Libyan families, provided that the value of the project is allocated according to the market value of its properties.
