Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs accompanied ministers and ambassadors on a tour in Youth City 2030, which is organised by the Youth Affairs Ministry in collaboration with the Labour Fund (Tamkeen).
The tour was attended by Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al Asfoor, Social Development Minister; Yasser bin Ibrahim Humaidan, Electricity and Water Affairs Minister; Noor bint Ali Al Khulaif, Minister of Sustainable Development; Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Noaimi, Minister of Information; Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce; Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) and Maha Abdulhameed Mufeez, Chief Executive Officer of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen).
During the visit, the officials were briefed on the objectives of Youth City 2030 which aims at providing training opportunities that increase capacity building of Bahraini youth.
Tawfiqi expressed appreciation to the officials for their visit to Youth City 2030 and learning the programmes and events it offers that contribute to equipping Bahraini youth with skills to enter the labour market.
She affirmed that the presence of ministers and officials in the Youth City demonstrated official support for Bahraini youth, and investing in their creativity, which motivates the youth to engage in the development process and building the future of Bahrain.
The ministers and officials expressed their appreciation for the role played by the Ministry of Youth Affairs in supporting Bahraini youth to discover and refine their talents in various domains.
They noted that Youth City 2030 is a key initiative that contributes to providing youth with the necessary skills that pave their way into the labour market prepared with knowledge, and training.
