Ghat, Minister of State for Migration Affairs Jdeid Ma’atoug paid a visit the southern city of Ghat during which he met head and members of its Municipal Council, heads of security apparatus and prominent city and tribal leaders.
The Minister inspected the border crossing with Algeria ‘Esiene’ where he acquainted himself with the situation there and the resources needed to re-activate the crossing.
The Minister also discussed, with the Mayor of the city and the notables of the area and heads of security apparatus, difficulties facing them particularly in regard to illegal migration, and discussed development projects for the region.
