Minister of Education approves national secondary school exam result, with a rate of (62.50%).

Minister of Education, Musa Al-Maqrif, and Director of the National Examinations Center, Mr. Ahmed Masoud, approved, Tuesday, the results of the first-set exams for the certificate of completion of secondary education for the school year 2022-2023, with an overall success rate of (62.50) percent.

The success rate for Libyan schools abroad in the certificate of completion of the secondary education stage was (73.57), while it reached (75.27) percent in the certificate of completion of the basic education stage.

Minister Al-Maqrif congratulated the successful students, wishing them success in their next academic stage (higher education), calling on those who did not have success to work hard and prepare for the second-set for exams to achieve success, and focus more on the subjects in which they failed.

The minister expressed his thanks to the educational family in various parts of the country, including teachers, school principals, educational mentors, and all the administrative staff in the ministry’s office, departments and centers affiliated with it, and education monitors for the success of the current school year, calling for more efforts and good preparation for the next school year, which will start early September.

For his part, the Director of the National Center for Examinations, Mr. Masoud, explained that the number of applicants for the first -set exams for the certificate of completion of secondary education totalled (123,264) male and female students, of whom (77042) passed, with a success rate of (62.50%), and the number of applicants for exams for the certificate of completion of secondary education in Libyan schools abroad totalled (855) male and female students, of whom (629) passed, with a general success rate of (73.57%).

The number of applicants for the first -set exams for the certificate of completion of the secondary education stage, the scientific department totaled (97015) students, of whom (65697) passed, with a success rate of (67.72%). (36540) male and female students passed with excellent grade, (22,995) with Very Good grade, (5409) got Good grade, 653 got Pass Grade, , and the number of those who have a second reset reached (20558) male and female students, while the number of students failed reached (10760) male and female students.

The number of applicants for the first-set exams for the Certificate of Completion of Religious Secondary Education reached (470) students, of whom (136) students passed, with a success rate of (28.94%), 44 students got Excellent Grade, and 55 students got Very Good grade, 37 students got Good Grade, students with second reset 184, and the number of students failed the exam was 150.

Second (184) male and female students, while the number of repeaters reached (150) male and female students.

(25,779) students applied for exams for the first set of the certificate of completion of secondary education in the literary section, of which (11,208) students passed, with a success rate of (43.48%).

Also, (54) students applied for the first round exams for the certificate of completion of secondary education in Libyan schools abroad in the literary section, of which (41) students passed, with a success rate of (75.93%).

(801) students applied for exams for the first round of the certificate of completion of secondary education in Libyan schools abroad in the scientific section, of which (588) students passed, with a success rate of (73.41%).

A total of (942) male and female students applied for the first round exams for the certificate of completion of the basic education stage in Libyan schools abroad, of which (709) students passed, with a success rate of (75.27%).
