Minister of Communications discusses with His Tunisian Counterpart outstanding problems at Border Posts

Tripoli- Minister of Communications, Mohamed Al-Shahubi discussed with the Tunisian Minister of Transport, Rabie Al-Majidi, the settlement of debts of Libyan Airlines and Afriqiyah Airways.

The two ministers also discussed, during the meeting held on the sidelines of the Future of Aviation Conference held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, finding possible solutions to the outstanding problems at the Ras Ajdir and the Wazen border posts between the two countries.

The meeting also touched on the opening of a maritime link between the two countries and the resumption of Tunisian Airlines flights, according to a post on the GNU Ministry of Communications official Facebook account.

The meeting was attended on the Libyan side by the head of the Civil Aviation Authority, Mustafa Ben Ammar and Head of Airports Authority, Mohamed Bait Al-Mal, and from the Tunisian side attended by the Director General of Civil Aviation, the Director General of the Civil Aviation and Airports Office, and the Director General of Tunisair.
