Tripoli: The Ministry of Interior is proceeding with its security plans to evacuate the capital, Tripoli, as confirmed by Major General Imad Al-Trabelsi, the Minister of Interior in charge of the Government of National Unity. Al-Trabelsi highlighted the notable progress made in these efforts during a press conference held on Wednesday.
According to Libyan News Agency, the Minister discussed the ongoing operations of the committee addressing the fuel and gas crisis, acknowledging certain challenges that remain. He emphasized that Tripoli is a city for all citizens and should not be controlled by any single entity, underscoring the importance of upholding the law.
Al-Trabelsi also urged collective effort from all parties to contribute to the nation’s service, future development, and the attainment of security and stability. Furthermore, he announced the ministry’s initiative to establish a morality police, appealing to citizens for their cooperation with law enforcement and security personnel.
